Welcome to Connections. This is a website which anyone can edit. It's all about the connections between different things. The website is broken down as follows: at the top level, there are themes. A theme is a general concept or idea which ties together some objects. For example, in the "Outer Space" theme, objects are things like: Earth, Venus, Mars, The Sun, Halley's Comet, The Milky Way, and so on. But the real meat and potatoes of Connections comes at the next level down: for every two objects, you can write a connection.
What exactly is a connection? It can be just about any information at all which either compares or contrasts the two objects, or about some relationship between them. For example, in the connection page between Earth and The Sun, you could mention that the Earth revolves around the Sun, that the radius of the Sun is about 110 times the radius of the Earth, and so on. As more objects and connections are added to the theme, it will provide a rich picture of how things relate and interact with each other.
