After the Empire poisons Doma, and Cyan is the lone survivor, Cyan rushes into the Imperial lines fighting in a blind rage. He would surely die there, but Sabin and Shadow happen upon him and join forces. Cyan then follows Sabin along Sabin's long journey to rejoin the main party in Narshe.
