Edgar

Edgar first met Terra when Locke brought her from Narshe seeking refuge. Edgar then helped Terra reach the Returner Hideout, and eventually helped her go full circle, right back to Narshe (along with Banon and Sabin). When the two first met, Edgar showed interest in Terra, flirting with her rather unskillfully. The potential romance never went anywhere, though.

Edgar and Locke seem to have been friends for some time before the game started. Anyway they're both involved with the Returners. They travel together to escort Terra from Figaro Castle to the Returner Hideout. As can be expected, Locke is upset whenever Edgar refers to him as a "thief" (preferring, of course, the term "treasure hunter")

Sabin and Edgar are brothers; Sabin is the younger. They're the two princes of the Kingdom of Figaro. Whereas Edgar chose to become king, Sabin chose to go into seclusion and train in martial arts. The two brothers were separated for a long time. Eventually, they met each other on Mt. Koltz after Sabin's fellow martial artist, Vargas, senselessly attacked Edgar's party. Sabin saved Edgar in the ensuing battle, and then the brothers decided to join up.

After the world ended, Sabin was part of the party who met Edgar in Nikeah while he was disguised as Gerad.

The only real non-optional interaction between Celes and Edgar (besides fighting in the battle for the esper at Narshe) was when they met in the World of Ruin. At that time, Edgar was disguised as Gerad, and hid his identity from Celes. Only after she followed him, suspecting he was really Edgar, did he finally reveal his identity. Then they fought together until, meeting Setzer in Kohlingen and struggling together to dig up the Falcon.

When Setzer does the coin-toss with Celes, to determine whether he'll marry her or whether he'll help the party, Celes uses Edgar's infamous two-headed coin to cheat.

In the World of Ruin, Edgar and Setzer meet in Kohlingen and briefly fight together in Darryl's Tomb to unearth the lost Airship Falcon.

Kefka attacks Edgar's kingdom early in the game when he (correctly) suspects Edgar is harboring Terra.

While the Emperor is feigning peace and Terra and Locke are playing ambassadors to the Espers around Thamasa, it is Edgar who discovers Kefka's plans (unfortunately, too late to prevent them).
