Snow
Object 'Snow' belongs to the 'Weather' theme.Connection to Rain:
Snow and rain are similar, but in the case of snow, water which would otherwise fall as rain instead becomes crystallized due to cold temperatures. In the air and on the ground, snow and rain look quite different. The former is a solid (albeit one which melts quite easily) and the latter is a liquid. Snow takes on a white color while rain is generally clear. Snow falls slower than rain due to the shape of the snowflakes making them more susceptible to air resistance. Rain is much more compact than snow.
Rain is a lot more common than snow. Rain occurs almost everywhere (with varying frequencies), but many places in the world rarely or never see snow.
Connection to Hail:Rain is a lot more common than snow. Rain occurs almost everywhere (with varying frequencies), but many places in the world rarely or never see snow.
Both hail and snow are basically frozen rain, but while the latter is crystallized, the former is not.
In general, hail is much less common than snow, but of course, there are places where snow rarely or never occurs but hail still can occur.
